Hi Taos community & Beyond— I’m Makaylah McCleery, and I’m honored to introduce myself as the new owner and Director of Operations of Taos Nanny Network.
I want to begin by expressing deep gratitude to Samantha, the founder of TNN, for her vision and dedication in creating a service that has supported so many families in our unique corner of the world. It’s a joy to carry this work forward and continue the heart-centered legacy she began.
With over a decade of experience in childcare and an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, I come to this role with both professional expertise and a deep love for family life. Supporting families — whether local or visiting — is truly my passion.
Whether you’re a Taos-based parent needing dependable care or a family visiting our beautiful mountains for a weekend getaway, I’m here to help you find a trustworthy, caring nanny you can count on.

How it all started…
When I was 12 years old, my mother (a single mom) gave birth to my little sister. This initiated me in the art of caring for children in a very intimate way.
When I turned 16, I was taking picking her up from daycare and taking her out on playdates. I also began working on my associates degree in Early Childhood Education.
By the time I was 18, I was working in professional daycare settings. I also graduated from Pensacola State College with my associates degree in Early Childhood Education.
Since then, I’ve worked with children in many different capacities and now I have found myself here! I now have the opportunity to vet and select the most AMAZING childcare providers in Taos to serve local and visiting families.
I still am nannying for families, furthering my education in birthwork and postpartum care, and lovingly tending this business.
